20-10-09 - TOURISTS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE THE EUROZONE CAN NOW PAY IN THEIR OWN CURRENCY
CCV, the market leader in the Benelux in the area of electronic payment solutions, and PaySquare and Global Refund, are announcing today that travellers from outside of the Eurozone can now use their bank card for making settlements in their own trusted currency when visiting Belgium. With this new functionality, which is called Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC), visitors to Belgium will immediately see the settlement amount in their own currency.

02-10-09 - REPAY INTERNATIONAL ENTERS INTO PARTNERSHIP WITH PAYSQUARE
RePay International, the company responsible for the Visa Greencard and the ClimaCount compensation program, has entered into a partnership agreement for the Dutch market with credit card issuer PaySquare. The latter takes over from Laser Cards, which had earlier indicated that it would not continue its support for the sustainable credit card program. The Visa Greencard is the only credit card that makes all credit card payments CO2 neutral by automatically compensating for the CO2 emission associated with the purchase in question.

29-05-09 - FIRST ‘GREEN’ VISA CHARGE CARD FOR DUTCH BUSINESS SECTOR AND GOVERNMENT
In collaboration with the PaySquare and RePay International organisations, Visa Europe will launch a unique ‘green’ Visa charge card especially developed for cardholders in the government and business sectors on the Dutch market. The new card, known as Visa Greencard Corporate, is a simple and economical tool enabling government and business cardholders to carry out sustainable management by offsetting CO2 emissions resulting from all transactions with the charge card.

04-07-08 - CHANGE OF MANAGEMENT AT PAYSQUARE
After 10 years as CEO of PaySquare and its legal predecessors, Lynn van Rooijen, 57, will be succeeded by Mr. Tiny Coppens. Coppens, 54, was previously a director at Interpolis. He has extensive experience in processes, sales, change management and general management.

25-10-07 - PAYSQUARE AND VISA EUROPE CONDUCT THE FIRST V PAY TRANSACTION IN THE NETHERLANDS.
Photo store CAPI – better known as one of the See Buy Fly shops – at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam was the scene of the first V PAY transaction in the Netherlands. Acquirer PaySquare choose CAPI for this point-of-sale transaction because of many foreign European cardholders, who will soon have a V PAY card. After entering the PIN code on the terminal, Michiel Wielhouwer, General Manager BeNeLux at Visa Europe and PaySquare completed the transaction successfully. CCV was the supplier of the point-of-sale terminal.

12-10-2006 - MOBILE J/SPEEDY™ NEAR FIELD COMMUNICATION MOBILE PAYMENT PILOT PROJECT SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED IN EUROPE BY JCB LED TEAM
JCB, the global payment brand, in cooperation with CCV Holland B.V., Gemalto, KPN, Nokia, NXP Semiconductors (formerly Philips Semiconductors), PaySquare, and ViVOtech, announced that they have successfully launched Mobile J/Speedy™, the Near Field Communication (NFC) mobile payment pilot project in Amsterdam. Following initial trials in September, the pilot service is now being rolled out to a broader group of JCB’s customers. The project marks Europe’s first contactless international credit payment scheme using a mobile phone with an NFC chip.

11-07- 006 - PAYSQUARE AND CHINA UNIONPAY SIGN EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT
Dutch credit card organization PaySquare received Chairman Liu Tinghuan of China UnionPay (CUP) today in Utrecht. The visit seals the exclusive partnership between the largest Chinese credit card organization and one of the largest players in the Benelux in the field of card acquiring. With this deal PaySquare opens the market for more than 940 million CUP card holders.

18-01-2006 - PAYSQUARE SIGNS CONTRACT WITH JCB AND CUP, ASIA’S BIGGEST CREDIT CARD BRANDS
As of January 2006, PaySquare, market leader in the acceptance and distribution of international payment methods, will be representing 2 new credit card brands. In addition to the payment brands of MasterCard, Visa, Maestro and – thanks to a unique joint venture – American Express, PaySquare now also offers the Japanese JCB (the biggest Japanese credit card brand) and Chinese CUP (the biggest Chinese credit card brand).
